Halden Meridian R · Electric Superbike

MERIDIAN

A superbike with nothing to hide. One electric motor, a carbon chassis and 245 PS, enough for 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds without a single gear change.

One line,screen to tail.

One line runs from the tip of the screen, over the tank and out through the tail. The fairings are carbon under the paint, the lights are thin LED blades, and the violet shifts towards blue as the light moves across it.

Keep scrolling and the Meridian R separates into its main systems. Every one of them hangs off the carbon monocoque at its centre.

System01 / 06

Carbon monocoque

The frame, tank cover and seat unit are one carbon structure. The battery bolts into it as a stressed member, so the bike carries no separate frame and no wasted weight.

Axial-flux motor

A flat, oil-cooled motor sits just ahead of the swingarm pivot and drives the rear wheel through a single belt. There is no clutch and no gearbox, so full torque arrives the moment you open the throttle.

Battery

The cells sit inside the carbon frame where a tank would be, low and close to the centre of the bike. They run at 800 volts, so a fast charger takes the battery from 10 to 80 percent in about the time it takes to have a coffee.

Suspension

A 43 mm upside-down fork and a single rear shock adjust themselves hundreds of times a second. Pick Road, Track or Rain and the damping, power delivery and traction control change together.

Front
43 mm USD fork, semi-active
Rear
Single shock, semi-active
Travel

Brakes

Twin 330 mm discs with radial four-piston calipers up front, plus a motor that brakes the rear wheel and charges the battery as you roll off. Cornering ABS knows the lean angle and holds the line.

Front
2 × 330 mm · 4-piston radial
Rear
245 mm · 2-piston
Energy recovery
Up to 60 kW

Aerodynamics

Ducts in the nose fairing push air down onto the front wheel at speed, which keeps it planted under hard acceleration. The same air is routed over the battery to keep it cool on track.

05 · Performance

Silence,then speed.

No clutch, no gears, no pause. Full torque is there the instant you twist the throttle, and a tuned sound channel under the tank lets you hear the motor work.
